David Archuleta - Self Titled
David Archuleta is the self-titled debut album of American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta. It was released on November 11 2008, in the United States, under Jive Records. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA (denoting shipments of 500,000 copies) on January 29, 2009. The first single, "Crush", was released to radio on August 1. The album was released in the UK on May 11, 2009. The UK album release was set to coincide with his UK tour with Rock/Pop band McFly in April/May 2009.

David Roland Cook (born December 20, 1982) is an American rock singer-songwriter,who rose to fame after winning the seventh season of the reality television show American Idol. Prior to Idol he released an album entitled Analog Heart, and his post-Idol self-titled album, produced by Rob Cavallo, was released on November 17, 2008 and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

A1 was a British/Norwegian boy band who were originally made up of Mark Read, Paul Marazzi, Ben Adams and Christian Ingebrigtsen (from Norway). Their first single, "Be the First to Believe", entered the UK singles chart at number six in early 1999. They had relative success in the charts with 2 number 1's and 8 top 10 hits. Adding to this they also won a BRIT Award for "British Breakthrough Act" in 2001. They were formed by band manager Tim Byrne, who also formed Steps. A1's journey came to an end when original member Paul Marazzi left in 2002 and the band subsequently decided to split.
